At Chapter 2 Fitness – CrossFit C2F, we want you to come down to the gym to see our gym, meet our team and to experience what we do first hand before making any commitments. We do this in the form of Free trials and introductory sessions aka intros. As part of this introductory session we offer a movement assessment which includes mobility and flexibility screening and give you the opportunity to have all of your questions answered. Our Strength classes are primarily designed to build our members strength! The class is structured in a way which focuses on the bigger “PUSH AND Pull” exercises like squats, deadlifts, overhead presses, big back pulls and chest press lifts. These are the primary functional lifts from which most CrossFit exercises are derived from. Every class focusses on two main lifts or muscle groups per day, programming the big lifts with secondary assistance lifts.

Each class members will perform the same exercises but at a load specific to their own abilities allowing them to do what is required to increase their strength at a steady progressive pace. This class also places a big emphasis on form and technique allowing participants to work safely while pushing their strength limits.

Masters

Masters Class

Our Masters Class is designed for men and women who want to train with other people of a similar age group with similar levels of fitness, wanting to get back to the shape they were in a few years ago, this class puts you with a coach who knows exactly how to do that. Being in his 40’s he knows your needs and as he says himself: let the boys train with the boys, the men will train with me! Not only will you be transformed physically, but you will also see improvements in your mental wellbeing, and overall health & fitness.

Olympic Weightlifting

Our Olympic weightlifting class will test and train your ballistic and explosive strength limits. Under the supervision of our coaches you will learn and perfect the techniques of Olympic weightlifting and reap all of its benefits and guess what? You don’t have to be an Olympian! Unlike your standard gym weightlifting sessions, this form of lifting involves utilising your whole body at the same time. As a result, you get a great cardio hit while strengthening and targeting muscles from your toes to your teeth. This is a great program for individuals looking to test themselves, improve flexibility/mobility, get faster, get stronger or simply try something new.

As part of personal training you will receive an individualised training program specifically designed to help you achieve your fitness goals. Whether you want to be fitter and healthier/ Stronger/ or maxamize your ability in your sport.
Regardless of your chosen sport or profession, an efficient effective training program is the road map designed to get you from where you are to where you want to be.

Sessions last an hour and are personalised for beginners to more advanced individuals who want to specialise in Strength training, Olympic weight lifting or CrossFit gymnastics. No experience needed. Are you a Student looking to get in shape?

At Chapter 2 Fitness we have numerous membership options, one of which is specifically for students! For just €85 per month you get to join all of our other student members and experience the benefits of expert coaching, great facility and motivating atmosphere at a reduced price. Students have unlimited access and can also train in our Boxing, Boxercise, Strength and Olympic Weightlifting Classes.

A typical session will include a 10 minute warm up, focussing on activating and mobilising the muscle groups we plan to work. We then move on to 35 – 45 minutes of resistance training focusing on functional movements and basic gymnastics. Finally we finish off with 10 – 15 minutes of metabolic conditioning to get the heart rate up. Everything is tailored to your individual fitness/exercise goals to ensure you reach them. This gives you do everything you need to not only get fitter and healthier but to also get stronger, look better and move better.
